OUR ECO-FRIENDLY APPROACH

Rethinking the way of conceiving jackets so these ones can respect Alizée's high standarts in term of eco-responsibility and ethic.

In recent years, Alizée has been able to innovate in order to offer jackets that meet current needs while respecting the environment in which we live. We have given ourselves the challenge of rethinking the way we conceive jackets so that they meet Alizée's high standarts in terms of eco-responsibility and ethics, in addition of becoming your best winter companions, regardless of the situations and conditions.

By 2025, we estimate that more than 500,000 plastic bottles will be removed from oceans and landfills thanks to our new collection.

358 828 plastic bottles were used in the making of our jackets with materials made from recycled plastic, whether it's for the fabric or for the zippers. By 2025, we estimate that more than 500,000 plastic bottles will be removed from oceans and landfills thanks to our new collection.

CONCRETE ACTIONS:

Insulation, zippers, in and out fabrics 100% recycled,
and bluesign certified partners.

We also make sure that the factories we work with respect Alizée’s ethical and environmental standards and therefore the standarts of the bluesign certification. It is important that our values, both environmental and human, are reflected in the way they operate. Our team goes there regularly to ensure that our standards are met. Furthermore, all our fabrics are treated with a C6 water repellent finish, which has a considerably reduced impact on the environment compared to other traditional water repellents.

FROM PLASTIC BOTTLES TO RECYCLED JACKETS

2024-25 collection has between 12 and 98 recycled bottles per jacket.

NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS USED

We chose not to use any animal product (fluff, leather and fur) in our jackets.

Today's technology and the expertise we have developed allow us to conceive jackets that will stand up to the coldest temperatures, without the need of using these products.

Nowadays, much remains to be done and the fashion industry remains one of the most polluting. However, we are convinced that every effort to improve this industry practices will bring real changes in the textiles and manufactures' world
